Teacher with International Towne students

International Towne Curriculum

The International Towne curriculum includes lessons in three themes which are mapped to Colorado Content Standards and Personal Financial Literacy Standards as well as to Common Core Standards.  Included in these lessons are hands-on activities that teach in a fun, experiential way.  All of this learning prepares students for the culminating day where they will run International Towne.

When you sign up to participate in the International Towne program, you will receive a web link and a password to access the International Towne curriculum.  The hands-on, interactive lessons and activities not only teach basic global economics, but also reinforce cultural awareness, geography, math, science, language arts, and civics.  They can be incorporated into your school’s daily schedule over a period of time that works best for you. The culminating activity is a trip to the International Towne facility, where your students spend the day role-playing as consumers and producers in a global marketplace of 16 countries. It’s an unforgettable experience that fosters lifelong learning!
