General Camp Info
Location
- Programs noted Belmar are held at Young Americans Center for Financial Education at 401 S. Pierce St., Lakewood, CO, 80226.
- Programs noted Denver are held at the Young Americans Center for Financial Education, 3550 E. First Ave., Denver, CO 80206.
Times
- Each week-long program is five days (Mon - Fri) in length.
- Week-long programs are 9 am to 4 pm, Mon - Thur; 9 am to 3 pm Fridays.
- Supervised drop-off is available at 8:30 am, with supervised pick-up until 4:30 pm Mon - Thur, and until 3:30 pm on Friday.
- Each 3-day program is three days (Mon - Wed) in length.
- 3-day programs are 9 am to 4 pm, Mon - Wed.

Tuition
- Tuition is $185 for each five-day program, which includes all activities and a camp t-shirt specific to the participant's program.
- Tuition is $125 for each 3-day program, which includes all materials, (no camp t-shirt).

How to Register

Register on the website with a credit card. Online registration for Summer 2010 programs will begin in January 2010.

Download a summer program brochure and registration form or pick one up at Young Americans Center.

Mail the registration form with check, money order or credit card information to Young Americans, Summer Registration, 3550 E. First Ave., Denver, Colorado 80206.

Age of Participants
- The curriculum for each program is developed with the specific grade level in mind.
- We strongly recommend that participants have completed one of the grades suggested in order to enroll.
Attendance
- Since daily activities build upon each other, we strongly encourage attendance all five days.
- Each week-long camp's culminating event will take place on Friday.
Confirmations
Written confirmation, program highlights, participant information form, and a sunscreen waiver will be mailed to you within three weeks of receipt of your registration.
All documents must be recieved at least two weeks prior to the scheduled start date of the program.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
- If you cancel 30 or more days prior to the first day of the program, a $65 processing fee will apply and the remainder will be returned to you via check or credited to your credit card.
- If you cancel 29 days or less prior to the first day of the program - NO REFUND will be issued. However, a certificate will be issued towards enrollment in a program offered the same summer or the following summer, less a $65 processing fee.
- If Young Americans cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment, participants will be informed of the possibility of cancellation at least 30 days prior to the scheduled program date and will be given a full refund if the cancellation proceeds.
Snack/Lunches/Camp Materials
A healthy mid-morning snack and beverage will be provided every day for all participants.
Participants must bring a sack lunch and water bottle labeled with the child's name every day.
Weather permitting, daily events will include outside activities so we suggest closed-toed shoes and sun protection.
The daily schedule is always subject to change. Participants will receive an updated schedule and a daily newsletter each afternoon.
Camp Operation
- Participants will be assigned to a focus group that will meet at the beginning and end of each day.
- The staff focus group leader will be the same for your child throughout the week.
- Participants will take part in activities throughout the day in small groups and will have the opportunity to interact with every participant throughout the week.
- Groups are assigned randomly by computer. If your child is attending camp with a friend and is interested in being in the same focus group, please note that on the summer program registration form before camp begins.
